"Create Delight" is one of our core values, so when we develop products there’s a lot of human touch that go into production – it’s what sets us apart.
I have the opportunity to create new products that solve consumer needs - for me, that’s the most exciting aspect of my work. Imagine starting with an idea, then seeing your idea on the shelf and finally witnessing how the consumer interacts with that product. It’s a fantastic feeling!
Godrej is only moving forward and upward, in terms of how we create delight for our consumers, how we do things and how we innovate.
I love the expanse Godrej has. It’s involved in every part of a consumer’s life, in every possible way - from soap and body wash, to hair colour, right up to household insecticide. That opens up a lot of scope for cross-category experience in the organisation.
We’re not stuck to one way of doing business. If we see a different way of operating, we check it out. I love that sense of curiosity. It makes the organisation a fun and interesting place to work.
Empowerment isn’t just a word at Godrej Consumer Products - it’s a day-to-day reality. I’m free to go and add value in any area I want, even if it’s outside of what I do.
The kind of freedom Godrej gives to employees is amazing. You can carve out your own space at the workplace. You have the opportunity to do what you enjoy, while also impacting the business positively.
I love that the fact that although Godrej is a large multi-national company, it still keeps the soul of a smaller company, in terms of having flat layers, flat structures and very approachable leadership. It’s also unusually agile and flexible for its size.
As the world around us keeps changing, we keep adding new elements. Yet at the same time, we’ve been able to retain our intrinsic Godrej values as a company. As a result, we’re extremely relevant for today’s consumers while still staying true to our core beliefs.
Godrej gives you the freedom to think, the freedom to act and the freedom to speak. As an organisation, we facilitate people to achieve their full potential at any point of time, with whatever they want to do. That’s what makes this place so special. In turn, the organisation also benefits when people thrive and grow.
I love the entrepreneurial and collaborative culture within my team. Our work demonstrates the strength and power of women leadership in a a company that fosters inclusivity. Diversity is being invited to the party, inclusivity is being asked to dance, and at Godrej we dance.
